Why we started Legacy Linen.
It began with a badly made bed
Legacy Linen started with a frustration familiar to anyone who has run a guest room in Kenya: linen that looked beautiful in a showroom and fell apart after a dozen washes.
We spent a year sourcing directly from mills, testing weaves against commercial laundering, and learning the difference between a thread count that means something and one printed on a package to justify a price.
What we care about
- Fabric that survives real use, not just the first month
- Finishing details guests notice without being able to name
- Consistency, so a property can restock the same specification in a year
- Fair, transparent pricing at every volume
Where we are going
We supply homes, boutique stays, Airbnbs and hotels across Kenya. The ambition is unchanged from the first order we packed by hand: make every stay feel like a luxury experience, and make it easy for the people creating those stays to get what they need.
